Jo hawayon ke sath teri khushboo aati thi,
Jo tere ane se fizaaon me bahar aati thi,
Wo lmaha kayi barso pehle beet gaya,
Jab teri ek nazar mere dil ke paar ho jati thi,

Ab zubaan keh keh kar thak bhi jaati hai,
Par meri yaad tere zehan me na aati hai,
Wo lamha barso pehle beet gaya,
Jab meri khamoshi labzo ka kaam kar jati thi,

Kuch khaas nahi mera haal bura tere bagair,
Bas saans jab bhi leti hu har saans chubh si jati hai,
Wo bhi ek daur tha mohabbat me jo tu bhul gaya,
Jab mere jane se teri sanse tham si jati thi!
