कुछ यूँ दूर जाने लगे हैं,
वो हमसे नज़रें चुराने लगे हैं,

कहते थे हमसे ख़फ़ा मत होना कभी,
आज मुझसे शिकवे जताने लगे हैं,

करते थे शब ए फुरक़त गुफ्तगू मुझसे कभी,
आज महफ़िल से मेरी ख़ामोश जाने लगे हैं,

था इख्तियार जिन्हें इन साँसों पर भी मेरी,
मरता भी नही, ये दुआ मनाने लगे हैं,

ग़ुमनाम तेरे रहबर की रानायी तो देख,
कल तक तेरी मंज़िल का पता जानता था,
आज मंज़िल से भटकाने लगे हैं... ग़ुमनाम


Kuch yun door jane lage hain,
Wo hamse nazren churane lage hain,

Kehte the hamse khafaa mat hona kabhi,
Aaj mujhse shikve jatane lage hain,

karte the shab e furkat guftagu mujhse kabhi,
Aaj mehfil se khamosh meri jaane lage hain,

Tha ikhtiyaar jinhe in saanso par bhi meri,
Marta bhi nahi ye dua manane lage hain,

Ghumnaam tere rehbar ki ranaayee to dekh,
Kal tak teri manzil ka pata janta tha,
Aaj manzil se bhatkane lage hain... Ghumnaam
