Tere chale jaane se zindagi ruki to nahi,
par tere bina zindagi adhuri si lagti hai.
Kisse kahu main dil ki baat,
ek tu hi to thi jo aaj bhi apni lagti hai.

Tune mujhe barbaad kiya par tujhko,
par tujhko ilzaam na doonga.
Tune hi kiya tha aabad kabhi,
teri baatein sacchi lagti thi.

Kaash ki tu na milti mujhse,
tanha to jee sakta tha.
Ab milta hoon unse bhi to,
tanhaiyan ruthne lagti hai.

Jaanta hoon tu nahi hai meri,
phir bhi tujhko pyaar kiya.
Itna hi bata de mujhko tu,
kya ye meri galti thi.

Khush hoon main ki teri doli,
mere kaandhe se hokar guzri hai.
jalta hoon teri yaad mein,
jaise chita ki lakdi jalti hai.
