Tune kaha tha mera dard tujhse dekha na jaega,
main muskura raha hun aaj bhi palken bhigoe hue,
mere aansuon ko koi teri bewafai na samajh le,
aaj ek umar beet gai mujhe roye hue..

Shikwe tujhse nahi mujhe apni kismat se hain,
paak rakha hai tera daaman aansuon se dhoye hue,
aaj bhi milti ho khwaabon me to muskura leta hun,
aaj ek umar beet gai mujhe naya khwaab sanjoe hue..

Tu laut ke aaegi ek din ye soch ke zinda hun,
jee raha hun hasratein dhaago me piroye hue,
maut aati hai pehle ya tu ab ye dekhna hai,
aaj ek umar beet gai tujhe khoye hue..
