Aaj ki raat koi sambhal le hame ki mout ka saya saath hai,
Mehndi lagi uske haatho mein aur darwaze pe khadi baraat hai,

Hai uski khwahish ki mujh se ek mulaqat aur bhi ho,
Saamne baith kar uske judai ki phir saugad bhi ho,

Sochta hu aise pal ko dil sambhaal payega ya bikhar jayega,
Dil mein dard dabaye rakhunga ya annkhon se chalak jayega,

Bewafa wo nahi aur bewafa ham nahi toh kya hai wajah hijr ki,
Shayad hai ye raza uss khuda ki jisko manzoor meri mohabbat nahi……
