Aaj Tootey Huwey Sapno Ki Bahot Yaad Aai
Aaj Beetey Huwey Sawan Ko Bahot Yaad Kiya

Ankhon ko intizar ka de ker hunar chala gaya
chaha tha aik shaks ko jane kidher chala gaya

din ki wo Mehflain gaye raaton ke rut-jage gaye
koi samait kar mere shaam-o-sahar chala gaya

jhonka hai aik bahar ka rung-e-khayal yaar bhi
her-soo bikher bikher gaye khushbo jidher chala gaya

is ke he dum se dil main aaj dhoop bhi chandni bhi hia
de ke wo apni yaad ke shams-o-qamar chala gaya.............
