zindagi ka  khel ek ajeeb khel ban gaye
do  kadam  chal  kar  sathi   bichhur gaye

dekha to gulaab jaane kyon kaanto ko bhul gaye
apnee he dhun mei hum kuch deir gumo ko bhul gaye

baadalon mei chhupi bijaliyan bhul gaye
kaali ghataon ki mastiyan bhul gaye

gulab ki har pankhuri meri jaane-mahak ban gai
zindagi ki talkhiyon ko thodi deir hum bhul gaye

koi samjhe ya na samjhe dil kei bekarariyan
gulab ki mahak mei hum khud ko he bhul gaye
