BASERAA (Punjabi)

Yaaro raaton mein taarye ginnaa nahin koi saukhaa
Kaali raat aey kinee kaali doondtaa hoon koi taaraa
Haaye re khuda kinee mushkil ne veraani dee ratian
Ik tu mil jaandaa tey banaa lendaa veraani baseraa

Lagdaa nahin hai jee meraa iss ujhrhe dayaar mein
Jo mazaa hai intezaar wich nahin ek deedaar mein
Main khamoshi udasiyan dil dee dooriyan seh lavan
Gar mar naa jaavan main kisee de ik intezaar mein

Keh devan arzuwan nun vee kitye hor ee jaa basan
Je ehni jagah mil jaandi kisey dil-e-daag daar mein
Jindarhi jinee mangee sii oh vee khatm hone ko hai
Do gazz zamin vee naa milee apne kuh-e-yaar mein
