ye sach hai ki mohabbat mein dube hue dil ko sambhala nahi jaata,
pur dard se dube hue dil ko gamon ke samandar se bhi nikala nahi jaata.

teri chahat hi thi jisne dunyia se ladna sikha diya,
to aaj kyu toot jaye tere jane ke baad hum,
teri chahat hi thi jisne gum me bhi jeena sikha diya!

din me bhi jaagte huye dekhti hai aankhe sapna unka.
aye khuda gujarish hai tujhse,
ya to mohabbat na dena ,ya phir judai na dena.

Jisse sikha tha maine jindagi ka matlab kabhi,
Ussi ne aaj mujhe maut ke darshan kara diye,
