Chalte chalte mukam aate gaye,
 Umar bhar mujh pe ilzam aate gaye.

 Koshish ki unko bhulane ki magar,
 Hothon pe barha naam aate gaye.

 Peete rahe hain hum to saki ke bagair,
 Aankhon se meri jaam aate gaye.

 Doston ke siva dushmano ke bhi,
 'Raj' tumko salam aate gaye.

              Is kadar jee rahe hain door hokar tumse hum,
              Har  ghadi  tadpe  dil  rehti  hai  aankh  nam.

                                    Mithi si chubhan kya dil ko tere tadpati hai,
             Jage jage rehte ho kya aaj kal tum raaton ko,
                                    Mere jaise tumko bhi kya aas koi behlati hai.
