Rab ki marzi ne hame milwaya tha,,
Tujhe yun hi nahi apna banaya tha,,
Guzre lamhe, mujhse puchhte hain,,
Kya ashq bahane ke liye sajaya tha..??

Jaagti ankho.N kaa tu khwab tha,,
Rato.N ka nasha, kya nayaab tha,,
Udhar bhi hui thi kuchh halachal,,
Ya sara hisab betuka, behisab tha..??

Khuda ki ibadat me tera naam tha,,
Tere liye havao.N me paigaam tha,,
Bas badnaami ka tha nishan sar pe,,
Ya milna baki abhi kuch inaam tha..??

Toot karr tujhko dil ne chaha tha,,
Ishq ki aahuti me huaa swaha tha,,
Kuchh dhua.N waha bhi pahuncha,,
Ya yun hi dil tanhai me jal raha tha..??

Baharo.N me tera sath nibhaya tha,,
Patjhadd me bhi na hath hataya tha,,
Har mausam sawal karta hai mujhse,,
Kaha gaya wo jo tera hamsaaya tha..?? Ñ
