Ham ko na door karo ye dil murjhah jaayega
Qatra-e ansu  ka kiya hai, behte  behjaayega

Kuch to mere khilvat-e dil ka bharam dekhiyega
Doobte doobte ishq men, khud ko bhi bhuljayega

Toofaan ka hai na darr ab, na bhanvar  men doobne ka
Meherbani-e jaana  ke saath ye darr bhi behjayega

Kuch chashm-e dilbar ka raha hoga asar mehfil par
Mareez-e dil apna dard younhi na  bhulayega

Murjhah- to wilt away, like a flower that has died
Qatra-e ansu- a tear drop
Khilvat: loneliness
Bharam:  distrust, skepticism
Bhanvar: whirlpool / vortex in the water
Chashm: eyes, eyeglasses
Dilbar: sweetheart
Mareez: patient
