Chand lamhen teree mehfil mei.n guzaar aayaa hoo.n…
             Gham hee gham jo diye tu.ne saugaat le.aayaa hoo.n!

Tu salaamat rahe jo abb tere paas koi gham hee nahi.n…
            Musarten hee musarten terey paas chorh aayaa hoo.n!

Tu kaali ghataao.n ke nazaare abb dekhaa kare jaanum…
        Mai.n sab kee sab barsaate.n apne saath le aayaa hoo.n!

Dil to apnaa tere hee paas chorh diyaa thaa mai.n ne…
          Tann.mann pe jo zakhm diye tune saath le aayaa hoo.n!

Zakhmo.n kee timaardaari kyun.kar abb karu.n mai.n…
        Duaaye.n dwaayen sabhee tere paas chorh aayaa hoo.n!

Eh Malikaa-e-bahaara.n bahaare.n to tere paas hai.n sab…
    Mausam-e- khaza.n sab kee sab, saath samet layaa hoo.n!

Tujhe fiqr naa ho, guzaar le shaad-o-abaad apnii zindgi…
     Merii bhi kat jaaye gee, terii yaade.n jo saath laayaa hoo.n!!
