Nach Basanti!

Baandh ke ghunghroo pair main apne
Naach basanti nach!
waqt ke gabbar ka kehna he
Lash pe matam kyoon kerte he?
lash tu tere bhi girni he!
choor ke matam, choor ke roona,

nach basanti nach!
moot ka tandav naach!
Naach basanti naach!

dard e dil ko geet bana ker
us ki dhun pe jism hila ker
shaakh-e-badan lachka lachka ker
Naach basanti nach!

Saans chale ge kab tak tere?
kab tak jaan bache ge tere?
waqt ke gabbar singh se bach ker
tu kitne din aur jiye ge?

jashn e moot mana aye basanti
jashn e moot mana!

nach basanti naach basanti naach!
jism hila ke pair hila ke,

shaakh-e-badan lachka lachka ke,

naach basanti nach!
