Teri  yaad aayi tere jane ke baad.
Meri aankh bhar aayi tere jane ke baad.

Ek pal bhi na ruka tu mere liye ,
Tere jane ki khabar aayi,tere jane ke baad.

Ab nahi koi saathi  mere raha, na koi dostana raha.
Kisi ko apna na banaya,tere jane ke baad.

Aarzoo-e-dil sunana tha tujhe magar,
Hosla bhi aya to tere jane ke baad.

Mere  aankhon ki nami tujhe rok leti shayad,
Rona bhi aya mujhe to tere jane ke baad.

Muhabbat ke fitnon se daman bachate rahe,
Mayel—e-muhabbat bhi huay to tere jane ke baad.

Umr-e-daraz se maagi hai tere waste hayat,
Dua bhi rang laayi to tere jane ke baad.

Mehfil-e-yaar mein tha main kitna khush mizaaj,
Gardishon ne hai sataya tere jane ke baad.

Saathi tere saath zindagi lagay jannat,
Zindagi lagay zehmat ,tere jane ke baad.

Din ko khayalon ne,raat ko khwabon ne "sahal"
Yaadon ne bhi jagaya to tere jane ke baad.
