tu agar hai khush to ye shaam bhi tere saath saath haseen hai
tu udaas hai ye udaas hai mere humsafar n udaas ho

kayi baar yooN to mile magar zara reh gayi kaheeN kuchh kasar
abhi aur milne ki pyaas hai mere humsafar n udaas ho

badi mukhtasar* hai ye zindagi teri daastaan daraaz* hai
yahi justaju* meri aas hai mere humsafar n udaas ho

chalo kal se tu bhi kaheeN kaheeN chalo kal se maiN bhi yahaaN wahaaN
magar aaj tu mere paas hai mere humsafar n udaas ho

ye likha hai "zarraa" ke haath meiN ke chale hawa to bahega wo
