barsi thi mere dil pe pehle jo,
aj phir wo fuhaar yaad aayi.

milte the chaand sitaaron ki tarha,
chehre wo haste kinaaron ki tarha.
sunte the geet dil ki dhadkan ke,
aj phir wo sitaar yaad aayi...

jannatein sajti thi nigaaho mein,
wo apsara thi meri baahon mein.
koi duniya mein nahi tha waisa,
aaj phir meri yaar yaad aayi
