आदाब

अगर  ठोकरों  का  मैं  मारा  न  होता
चमकता  हुआ  सा  सितारा  न  होता

न पहचानते  तुम  मुझे  इस  जहां  में
अगर  खुद को  मैने  निखारा न होता८

बुरे  वक्त से सीख  मिलती  न मुझको
तो  राहों  को  अपनी  संवारा न होता

बनाता न  खुद  को  जो  चट्टान जैसा
रकीबों  में   मेरा   गुज़ारा   न   होता

कहाँ  जीत  पाता  तुम्हीं को  तुम्हीं से
मैं इस दिलको तुमपे जो हारा न होता

ग़मों  से अगर  दिल  लगाता तो ऐसे
मैं  दुनियां  में   यूं  बेसहारा  न  होता

चले जाते दुनिया  तेरी  छोड़ कर हम
अगर  दिल से  तुमने पुकारा न होता

हां  तूफान   में  'आरज़ू'  डूब   जाता
मुहब्बत  ने   तेरी  उबारा   न    होता
