Chaman mein ek khushboo si mano bikhar gayee
Ayee jab aanchal hava mein lehra ke mehbooba meri

Chand ki roshni bhi pheeke parne lagi tab
Mehboob ne sar se apne pallu ko hataya jab

Phool bhi unke kadmo ko chumne ko huye betab
Ghumar ghumar ke hichkole khane laga pyar ka sailab

Roop ki chhata aise bikhar rahee thhi priyatamma ki
Kismat bhi humari pake unko shayad naj kar rahee thhi

Aankho hi aankho mein vo pyar ka izhar kar rahi thhi
Nand ke dil ki bekarari badhte hi ja rahi thhi
