            azal     se      tu      mera       thaa.
            meri    mohabbat   ka  savera   thaa.

            rahi aashiyaane  mein  roshni hamesha.
            phir  bhee  zindagi mein andhera thaa.

            guzaari  miskin   see  zindagi  tumne.
            jo   mera   thaa  wo  sab  tera  thaa.

            to dekhta per tujhe nazar  nahin aata.
            nigaah mein najaane kis ka pahra thaa.

            baagh  mein  mere  kayee  phool  khile.
            her  kali  pe  buss  tera  chehra  thaa.
