Deewana bana gayee mujhe, ek anjan haseena
Dil mein mere bas gayee, ban key ek nageena

Chanchal bare thhe usske, kajrarey do naina
Madhosh bana gayee mujhe,  piye bin paimana

Bhool nahi patey hum, usska mur mur ke muskana
Roop gajab payee thhe, usspe chal thhi mastana

Sangmarmar si kaya usspe, yauvan ka chhalakna
Khilti kali si thhi vo, murat ajanta ki lagna

Gujree jab samney se vo, usska ghayal mujhko karna
Dil tham liya nahi toh, dum ka thha pakka nikalna
