Ek shakhs raat phir meri hasti pe chha gaya...
Itna qareeb aaya k dil main sama gaya...
Woh ik pal jo de gya aasoodgi k sath...
Jazbon ki taza dhoop main pagal bana gaya...
Pehle mere wajood per utra woh boond boond...
Barsa To phir ghata ki tarha mujh pe chha gaya...
Woh jab mila to pyaas se lub khushk thay bohat...
Lota to hasraton ko woh pani pila gaya...
Paband kar gaya mujhko lamhon ki qaid main...
Aankhon pe apni yaad ke pehray bitha gaya...
