Hamne jo ki thi mohabbat, aaj bhi hai
Hamne jo ki thi ibadat, aaj bhi hai
Wo samjhte hain ki bhula diya hamne unhe, par
Ishq ki jalti shama iss dil me, aaj bhi hai..

Hamne jo ki thi mohabbat, aaj bhi hai
Har guzarte pal me unke aane ki aahat, aaj bhi hai
Yun to zindagi hoti hai ek haseen tohfa, par
Iss tohfe se shikayat hame, aaj bhi hai..

Hamne jo ki thi mohabbat, aaj bhi hai
Unki adao.N me nazakat, aaj bhi hai
Yun to wo kali rehti hai jis bagh me, hai badi door, par
Uss bagh me iss bhanvare ki gungunahat, aaj bhi hai..

Hamne jo ki thi mohabbat, aaj bhi hai
Hamari har dua me unka naam shumaar, aaj bhi hai
Unke khuda ne likhi hai ye takdeer hamari, par
Iss takdeer ko badalne ki chahat, iss dil me, aaj bhi hai..

Hamne jo ki thi mohabbat, aaj bhi hai
Unke har gham ko apnane ki chahat, aaj bhi hai
Iss zindagi me seekha bahut kuchh hamne unse, par
Wo samajhte nahi ki kamiya.N ham me, aaj bhi hai..!!! Ñ
