hum tanhai mein aksar unko yaad karte hain
mile toh mile kaise unse hum
yahi soch ke din raat tadpate hain

mohabbat ki galiyon me na chaha tha aana kabhi,

hum tere khawabo mein bhi hai aur khayalo mein bhi
tum chaha ke bhi hamko bhula na paaoege
jab kabhi chhayi sawan ki ghata ya sunoge koi gazal
mere hi tasvur se tum mehek jaaoge
fir talashoge hame diwaano ki tarah
fir hamari mohabat ko yun na tum aajmaa paaoege

Har raat teri yaadon ko, dil me basa ke sota hoon,
aa jaye tu khwaabon me, yehi tamanna karta hoon........
haqiqat me to hum tumhen pa na sake e-sanam,
khwaabon me hi labon ko tere, choom liya karta hoon....
