Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji's poems have special significance. He was leader of a country of one billion people; a seasoned politician who would have seen all that is to be seen on this earth. It is admirable that he retained the sensitivity of heart as a poet too, a member of the rare breed of philosopher kings. I was specially moved by the second stanza in the following poem, where he says that it is enough that we retain the sensitivity of our inner selves when the death finally knocks.

In most human endeavors, there are ups and downs. But in the field of politics, downswings can be brutal and up-swings full of elation and optimism. Two poems of Atal Ji reflect beautifully on this roller coaster. First one appears to have been written in a phase of disillusionment and dejection when the poet?s heart says, ?I won?t sing any more?. But the scenario and circumstances change, the optimism is back in the air. Old desolation is forgotten and it is time to rise and march on with a new song in the heart. Please read on and experience these two moods.

[Life is short and expectations could be big. Real pain is felt if one knows that one deserves a much better deal, but is there any one out there who is listening to the silent pleas constantly emerging from your heart, and doing something about it? Or there is no one out there?]

Dhanyawad ranjana jee..chalain in kavitaao.n say aapki kuchh yaadein taaza hui jaankar prasannata hui..!!
Natural jee.ooper ki panktiyaan 'Gopal Das Neeraj'' jee ki likhi hui hain.. Aur pratyek Bharat wasi ko hindi ka gyan hona chahiye..Hamari rashtrabhasha hay Hindi..Iska adhikadhik prayog aur samman hona chahiye..Aapko kavita ka sangrah achha laga,khushi hui Usual Smile

Dhanyawad Rain ji.... aap bilkul theek keh rahi hain ki pratyek bharatwasi ko hindi ka gyan hona chaahiye, lekin dekhiye na, aapne khud hi apni matrabhasha ka sammaan na karte huey eik videshi bhasha ka prayog kiya hai.... Agar hum sirf apna bhasha gyaan dikhane ke liye hi apni bhasha ka prayog karte hain, to yeh hamari bhasha ka sammaan karna nahi apitu uska mazaak uraana hoga.... Usual Smile Aasha karta hoon aapko meri koyi baat buri nahi lagi hogi....

apne bahumulya vichar hamse bantne ke liye dhanyawad natural jee..!! parantu yaha bhasha-gyan dikhane ki baat kaha say aayi janab..hamari samsya hi yahi hay ki jab bhi ham is bhasha ka shudhh roop prayog kartay hain tab aarop lagne shuru ho jatay hain ki ham dikhawa kar rahay hain..!!chalain koi baat nahin..aur rahi videshi bhasha ke prayog karne ki baat tou aapki jitni bhashao.n per pakar ho utni hi achhi baat hay na jee..!! isme kisi bhasha ka apman kyu honay laga bhala? aur ham tou hindi sahitya se juray hain mahoday isliye is bhasha ka apman karne ka ham soch bhi nahin saktay..!! aapne jo tippani ki wo bilkul bhi buri nahin lagi..aarop pratyarop tou chalta hi rahta hay..aapne apne vichar rakhay ..iska punah dhanyawad..!!
