aik amanat tujhko dee thhi kahan tu is kay qaabil thha

pyar ka jeevan jisko sonpa woh hee pyar ka qaatil thha

jang e ishq mai maat hamesha mujh hee ko mil jati thhi

kya karun har baar mera hee pyar mere muqaabil thha

tu samet kay apni saari khushyan mujh se bichhar gaee

bhool gaee tu khushi mai teri dard mera bhi shaamil thha

patthar kee maanad mujhko ek thokar maar kay chhor diy

mai deevana mai pagla haan shayad isee qaabil thha

sab kuch bhool kay teri yaad mai aksr gum sum rehta thha

apnay saare gham or khushyon se bilkul mai ghaafil thha

apna saara jeevan ahsan us kay husn pay vaar diya

uske ishq mai doob raha thha jo ishq e lahaasil thha
