Kyun itna khushi chipha hota hain Ishq mein;
Yeh khushi bayan nahin hota hain zubaan sein.

Duniya walo iss pyar ka kadar karna sikho;
Sharbat hain yeh zara pikar dekho.

Kasam khata hu khudha ki mere yaar;
Tum nahin pachtaoge bekaar.

Nahin samajh paoge tum yeh kaisa hain saroor;
Iss mohabbat ka rehega tumhe guroor.

Mein nahin koi mohabbat ka sartaj;
Lekin kash jala saku iss duniya mein mohabbat ka siraaj.
