Kabhi tum chup raho kabhi hum chup rahen,
Kyon na suljhate chale jaayen Zindgi ke marhale.

Na kabhi tum uncha bolo na kabhi hum uncha bolen,
Yoonhi prem se katte chale jayen Zindgi ke silsile.

Na tum sarko hamari zanib na hum sarken tumhari zanib,
Bas hum apas mein kahte rahen walla aap pehle walla aap pahle.

Na tum aankh dikhao mujhko  na hum aankh dikhayen tumko,
Bas ek doosrey ko pyar se dekhte rahein hum dono alwele.

Kabhi tum chilman se jhanko kabhi hum chilman se jhanken,
Bas yoonhi tum hum se parda karlo to kabhi hum tumse parda karlein.

Kabhi tum aznabi ban jaao Kabhi hum aznabi ban jayen,
Isi tarah kyon na “Betaab”yoohi  apna prem taza karlein.
