                           hua  kyaa   tujhe     jaan-e-jigar.
                           mere    rahte    tujhe    kaisa   darr.

                           peena     hai      to    bol      mujhe.
                           mooh      mat      maar     idhar-udhar.

                           hoon   sayaa    tera   ye    samajh  le.
                           tu    nagar-nagar   main    dagar- dagar.

                           kitna  bhi  chupa  le hijaab mein khud ko.
                           andhere    mein   bhee    tu  aaye  nazar.

                           hoon  halaat-e- haazra  se  mahroom magar.
                           rahtee    pall-pall    kee    teree khabar.

                           honge    tere   aur    bhi   chahne  waale.
                           hai    meree    mohabbat   zyaada    magar.

                           koi   shamaa to nahin kee bujh jaaye tu.
                           dekh   mujhe   youn    na   bhaaga     kar.

                           khawaab   mein   kabhi na aao.n ga main .
                           iss   khauf   se raat mein naa jaagaa kar.
