rooh ko jism mein laane ki koshish ki
              tere dil mein apni mohabbat laane ki koshish ki ,,,,

har baar ki tarah reh gaya main tanha abh bhi
              mehfil mein bina tumhare jaane ki koshish jo ki ,,,,

chhoo lete to ho jata pathar se mom main bhi
              bana kar shamaa tujhe jal jaane ki koshish ki ,,,,

na jane kaise manaunga is baar tumko ae sanghdil
              baat baat par tumne to rooth jaane ki koshish ki ,,,,

rah paya na dhoor kalm aur kagaz se ab aur sahil
              shayari e sagar mein jazbaaton ko dubone ki koshish ki ,,,,

rooh ko jism mein laane ki koshish ki
              tere dil mein apni mohabbat laane ki koshish ki ,,,,
