Yu kehti ho mujhe diwaana duniya ke saamne,
Lekin lage ho mann hi mann mein apna mujhe maanne,

Hansti ho mujhe dekh aur mann hi mann sharmati ho,
Jo aau paas tumhare toh ek dum se seham jati ho,

Mohabbat tum ko bhi lekin na jaane kiss baat se ghabrati ho,
Mujhe aas paas dekh tum mann hi mann mein muskurati ho,

Lafzo ki zaroorat nahi mujhe lekin kyun aankhon mein chhupati ho,
Izhaar meine kiya toh kyun tum ikraar se katrati ho……
