Hai mausam barsat ka,
Waqt bhi hai raat ka,
Hai jam mere hath mein,
Ho tum bhi mere sath mein,
Barish ke pani ki zhari,
Tan mein lagati aag si,
Main nahi hun hosh mein,
Chahat ke is josh mein,
Na jane kya kar chalun,
Mumkin hai hadd se bad chalun,
Mujhse khafa hona nahi,
Asul-e-kudrat hai yahi,
Ki mausam-e-barsat mein,
Aur waqt-e-raat mein,
Dilruba mil jaye kahin,
Phir to hota hai yahi.
