Mein jisey likhta rah behsumaar khat
aaj uhs ne behja hai pehli bar khat

jab padhta hoon uska dil nisaar khat
ji chahta hai bna loon galay ka haar khat

aik bar padhne se jee nahi bhra
issi liye padhta hoon bar bar khat

isey dil ke frame mein saja ke rakhoon ga
mere liye rehy ga yeh yaadgaar khat

wo chiye mere khat ka jawab na de
Asghar to usey likhe ga bar bar khat
