Karke waada khawabon mein mere aaye jo
                 mere dil ko qaraar jo thoda aaye to

haaye yeh intzaar ke pal khatam hote nahin hain
                chand meri chahat ke asmaan ka chhat pe nazar aaye to

gile to bohut hain shikayatein to bohut hai sab bata to doon
                 darta hai dil saamne paa kar unhein kahin zubaan badal na jaye  to

kitne hi armaan hai is dilkash mohabbat ke dil mein basaye hue
                 aao rubru jo nigahein nigahon se sab samjaye to

karke waada khawabon mein mere aaye jo
               mere dil ko qaraar jo thoda aaye to
