shama jali aur sanjh dhali
utri jamee mein chandni
shuroo huyee ek kahani
mahobbat ki bani jubani

phul bikhrey hain dhara mein
chanda takta aasma mein
gori ghungat mein ghabraey
palkey jhukaey sharmaey

dil dharakta hai joro sey
preetam khara hai dur pey
chhaya hai masti ka aalam
javan dilo ka hoga sangam

haya ki chadar ko audhey
premee sakuchaey kharey
pyar ka sailab umrey
manjil apnee kaisey paaey

premiyon ko baithey dekhey
mausam ko shararat sujhey
hava key jhonkey ka aana
gori ka preetam sey lipatna

meetha sa sparsh hua
pyar ka ehsas hua
duriyan sab mit gayee
milan ki anubhuti huyee
