Hale dil bayan karna nahi aata
Mahobbat karte hain itni, par jatana nahi aata

Bahut kuchh kehne ko arma bar bar machalte hain
Par shabdo mein unhe dhal ke kehna nahi aata

Seene mein ek aag roj sulagti hai
Par majboor ban ke baithe itne ki batana nahi aata

Sayana bahut log humko kehte hain
Par anari itne ki samna karna nahi aata

Vo issharo se samjhate bahut hain
Par nadan hum itne ki samjhana nahi aata

Khat mein batein vo sab roj likhte hain
Par na jane kis anjane dar se bhejna nahi aata

Bachainee mein roj unka intejar karte hain
Par laj ke ghunghat ko apne uthana nahi aata

Lagta hai ki bandhe hum ek dor se unse hain
Par na jane kyon had ki seema ko laghana nahi aata
