roobaroo hue jab teri nazron se,
bekabu sa mehsoos kiya khud ko,
teri ye do aankhen jaise noor-e-bazm hai,
pehli nazar me hi tujhe rooh me utarta hua sa mehsoos kiya,
tera ek ek lafz jaise koi nasha tha,
tu khamosh hua to jaise kayanat ko thamta hua sa mehsoos kiya.
