Na jane kyun ab shikayat si rahti hai uske lafzo mei meri khatir
jiske lafzo mei mera naam har waqt aaya karta tha,

Wo mujhko kabhi dil mei ya palko pe bithakar
mere gham ko khusi mei badal kar khub hanshaya karta tha,

Mai ab tak na samajh paya hu meri khata kya thi
jabki wo meri nadaniyon ko mujhse chhupaya karta tha,

Aaj ehsaash dilaya hai usne mujhe meri badnasib mohbbat ka
jis mohabbat ki khatir kabhi wo khud bhi loot jaya karta tha.......
