hamare manane mein hi koi kami nahi rahi hoti  ae sanam hameshan
     tumhare roothne ki wajah bhi to kabhi galat rahi hogi

Saansein jo chal rahi hain jism mein ehsaan ki tarah ab
     Jeene ki magar wajah koi aur bhi rahi hogi

Khush hain gar hum saza e  ishq ko pa kar bhi
     gustakhi e chahat bhi koi haseen rahi hogi

Naaz o nakhre bhi itne na dikhao ke samjh na payein
     Na ho koi gilaa tumein har pal yehi azmaish rahi hogi

Yun hi uthaali kalm tanha khayaal apne lekar
     Sahil na ban jaye shayar mehfil mein baat chali hogi
