kabhi piyar se dekhiye toe idhar
muqaddar ka khul jaye ga apna dar

tere ishq mien hum ne kia na kia
jafa kesh tujh per hua na asar.


bahut sust he dil kee raftar kion?
kaheen ruk gaya hoga rashk-e-qamar.

zameen gol he jaante hien sabhi
saheli ko 'chapti' pasand he magar.


khuda toe he maujood maano na maano
koi toe khilata he barg-o-samar.
