Saat surron ka behta daria tery nam,
Har sur main rang dhank ka teray nam,

jangle jangle urny waly sub mausam,
aur hawa ka subz duppata teray nam,

Hijr ki sham, akeli raat k khali dar,
shab-e-firaq ka zard ujala teray nam,

teray bina jo umer bitai beit gai,
ab is umer ka baqi hisa teray nam,

is shair ny aankhoon ma jitny rang chunney,
Un ka aks ha mera shehra,teray nam (NM)

Nomi, This famous Ghazal is by the famous Indian Poet Janab Firaq Gorakhpuri Sahab. His real name was Raghupati Sahay.

Please give proper credit to the orginal poet when you share their poems with us.

You are welcome. You can always write Not Mine when you dont know the poets name. Here on this site we appreciate the originality, and also like reading the work by others, provided proper acknowledgement is always given to the original poet. Usual Smile
