TUMHEIN DEKHNAA CHAHATAA HOON

I want to see you
Know your voice.

Recognize you when yoy
First come ‘round the corner.

Sense your scent when I come
Into a room you have just left. Your lips

Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.

Become familiar familiar with the way
You purse your lips
Then let them apart,
Just the slightest bit,

Tumhaari awaaz sunnaa chaahataa hoon
Tujhe iss qadar pehchaanaa chaahataa hoon
Ke tu chaahe mere kitnee dur se hee nikle
Yeh to teraa hee saayaa hai
Issey pehchaanaa chaahataa hoon
Tumhaari khushboo tak pehchaanaa chaahataa hoon
Jab jab tu ek jagah se doosri jagah chale
Tere paaon kee chaal dekhnaa chaahataa hoon
Tere paaon mein sajji paazeb ke
Ghungarvon kee awaaz pehchaanaa chahataa hoon
Honton kee pankhrhion ko khilte
Teree halki sii muskaan deknaa chaahataa hoon
Teraa khulkar hanstaa sunnaa chaahataa hoon
Honton-o-gaalon ko hawaaon se choomnaa chaahataa hoon
Tumhein kunakhion se dekhe dekhnaa chaahataa hoon
Apne kaanon mein phusar phusar karte sunnaa chaahtaa hoon
