kaale ghane andhere mein dooba tha dil hamara
tumne hi shama-e-mohobbat jala ujala kar diya
yun to nafrat kiya karte the ham apne hi wajood se
tum aaye or hamein khud ko chahnewala kar diya

kabhi sirf aansuo ki hi jagah hoti thi hamari palkon par
ab bas jate hain khilte khwaab jo ham ankhein moonde
tapte registan ka manzar bana hua tha ye dil
tumhara ishq barsa us ret par ban baarish ki boonde

ab to saansein bhi lete hain sirf tumhare hi khatir
tum na ho jo sang to mar jana ganwara hai is dil ko
sooni akeli kaat rahe the ham zindagi bin tumhare
tumne hi to duniya hamari or sanwara hai mehfil ko....
