Aap  aaye the  toh bahaar aayi thi
Jaane kidhar se wo shaam aayi thi
Wo zarra zarra mahka tha
Dil ki pahli bauchhaar aayi thi
Jaane kidhar se wo shaam aayi thi

Dil ki baaton ka silsila sa lagta tha
aap  nahi the fir bhi hone ka gumaan tha
har aahat par ye nazar unhe dhundhti  thi
Jaane kidhar se wo shaam aayi thi

Wo rukh badalti hawa kaano me ghul jaati thi
Nazre wo takra kar, jaise kuchh kah jaati thi
Muhabbat ka diya kuchh yun jala tha
Jaane kidhar se wo shaam aayi thi

Wo lamha ab door hai, kuchh kahne se mazbur hai
Dil tadapta hai , par rota nahi
Sukhe ashqon ki bhaasha koi samajhta nahi
Kabhi  toh baarish ki bhingi chaandni jagi thi
Ujle diye ki lau jagmagaayi thi
Jaane kidhar se wo shaam aayi thi….
