Woh dil-nawaaz to hain, lekin nazaar-shanaaz nahin

       Mera ilaaz charagaar ke paas nahin
 

       Guzaar rahein hain marhaalon se 'chiraag'

        sahar ki aas to hai, zindagi ki aas nahin

(marhaalon =muflisee)
