ZAKHM (Urdu)

Sahib main ne usske haath ko kyaa choo liyaa
Kuchh yun lagaa ke ik hayaat ko hee choo liyaa
Usske haath koi bijlee yaa shamsheer to naa thee
Kuchh yun samajho dil zakhmion mein shumaar kar liyaa

WOUNDED (English)

Sire! What a shock it was to touch her hand!
Indescribable experience of the life though first hand!
Who knows was it an electric current or a sharp sword?
All I know is I have a wounded heart and my shocked hand!
