GALAT RAASTEY

Bashar aaj kal galat raahoN hee kyuN, chhalaa phirtaa hai
Yeh raah-e-raast to nahiN jis raah yeh chhalaa phirtaa hai

Yeh to nahiN ke anparhh hai aur kuchh jaantaa hee nahiN
AankheN moond gum.shudaa hawaauN urhhaa phirtaa hai

Kehtaa hai zamaane kee hawaa kaa rukhh hee badlaa hai
Hawaa badalti hai aur yeh yaksaN tufaN banaa phirtaa hai

Binaa asool kee sayaasat binaa mehnat kee daulat hai yeh
Khuda jaane kyaa ho desh kaa jhandaa jhukaa phirtaa hai

BiN marzi kee aagahi biN qurbaani kee ibaadat hee hai aaj
BiN rahm kee insaniyat liye insaN insaN banaa phirtaa hai

Waqt-e-election kehtaa thaa ke sayaasat bhi badal de gaa
Ek baar jeetaa hai bas abb mausam saa badlaa phirtaa hai

CheezoN ke nirakh aasmaN bhi chhu leN inhh kee balaa se
Khud parliament canteeN se sastaa khaa rahaa phirtaa hai

MohaN uthho kuchh dua hee karlo aakbat hee sanwaar lo...
Tu bhi to ek shayar gum shudaa saa hee chalaa phirtaa hai

Raah-e-raast = theek raastaa; Moond = band kar ke;
Gum.shudaa = lost; Yaksan = ek jaisaa; Tufan = storm;
Aagahi = conscience; Ibaadat = prayer; Aakbat = future;
