hamain koi gham naheen tha, gham-e-aashqi se pehlay
na thi dushmani kisi se teri dosti se pehlay
hai ye meri bad naseebi tera kya qasuur iss main
tere gham nay maar dala mujhe zindagi se pehlay
mera pyaar jal raha hai ai chaand aaj chup jaa
kabhi piyaar tha hamain bhi teri chandni se pehly
main kabhi na muskurata jo mujhe ye ilm hota
k hazaron gham milain gay mujhe ik khushi se pehlay
ye ajeeb imtahaan hai k tumhi ko bhoolna hai
milay kab the is tarah hum tumhain bay dili se pehlay
