Dil ki arzoo ko unhe samjhau kaise
Hal-e-dil hai bura yeh unhe sunau kaise

Dub raha hai safeena samander me
Ab khud ko mai bachau kaise
Tej aandhiya jo chal rahi hai
Diya ishq ka ab mai jalau kaise

Jaan hai meri  tu ruh bhi tu hai
Bina ruh apna tan  ab chalau kaise
Likha tha naam tera dil pe khanjar se
Tere naam ko ab dil se mitau kaise

Hai nishan  abhi mer galo pe tere laboo ke
Ansoo gira kar galo ko ab nahlau kaise
Akele nahi hum diljalo ki duniya me ‘poonam’
Zakham apne dil ke ab mai dikhau kaise
