                        Khuwwat-e-mardaa……Sahal

Raat guzri bhi nahi subaah hone lagi hai,
Saber ki ye to ek intehaan hone lagi hai.

Din ke ujale mein ye dastaan hone lagi hai,
Khuwwat-e-mardaa be-hayaa hone lagi hai.

Bay-hiss hone lagay hai saare alfaaz mere,
kahani ye khamoshi se ayaan hone lagi hai.

Dard sehti hi rahi hai ek zinda laash ab tak,
Tais ye purani ab jake numaya hone lagi hai.

Rabt to raha hi nahi insaaniyat se kisi ka,    
Ikhlaq mein barbaad-e-imaan hone lagi hai.
                                               -Ikhlaq=civility.
Masle gaye kitne yahan gul chaman-e-jahan ke,
Khaaq,ab jake awaaz-e-awaam jamaa hone lagi hai.

Insaaf maang raha hai “sahal”,har katra-e-lahoo masoom ka,
Inqalaab-e-awaam-un-naas phir se jawaan hone lagi hai.
